opengovernemnt guideThe Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an international voluntary effort to foster more transparent, effective and accountable governments. The Open Government Guide has been developed to help support governments and civil society working together to develop ambitious action plans as part of the OGP.
The guide draws on contributions from leading experts across a wide range of open government topics and highlights practical, measurable, specific and actionable steps that governments can take depending on their starting point:

  • Initial steps starting from a relatively low baseline
  • Intermediate steps building on moderate progress
  • Advanced steps demonstrating good practice
  • Innovative steps testing new approaches

For each step the Guide gives detailed recommendations together with relevant links to standards and guidance and country examples from around the world.
